The 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, is an airborne infantry brigade of the United States Army stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. It is the only airborne brigade combat team in the Pacific Theater and one of only five in the U.S. Army. The brigade's lineage dates back to its establishment as the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, activated on July 14, 2005, at Fort Richardson, Alaska. This activation was part of the Army's transformation to a modular force, and it marked the first new airborne unit created since World War II.

On June 6, 2022, the brigade was redesignated as the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, aligning with the reactivation of the 11th Airborne Division as part of the Army's new Arctic strategy. This reorganization aimed to enhance the Army's capabilities in extreme cold weather and mountainous environments. The brigade comprises several battalions, including the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment; 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment; 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment; 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment; 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne); and the 725th Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne). These units collectively provide a versatile and rapidly deployable force capable of conducting airborne operations and supporting a wide range of military missions.
