      The Airborne and Special Operations Test Directorate (ABNSOTD) located at Fort Bragg, NC plans and executes the testing of airborne and airdrop equipment that ensure the safety and effectiveness of operational paratroopers, and ensure that the equipment is effective in all situations including water landings.
