      The U.S. Army Advanced Airborne School at Fort Bragg is entrusted to;

      • Maintain the readiness of the XVIII Airborne Corps and the 82nd Airborne Division by preserving the ability to deploy anywhere in the world in 18 hours by either an airborne or air-land assault.
      • Train selected personnel in Jumpmaster, Air Movement Operations and Basic Airborne techniques.
      • Advise and assist Unit Commanders in evaluation of Jumpmasters and Air Movement Operations Officers and NCOs.
      • Provide technical expertise to the XVIII ABN Corps and 82nd Airborne Division Command Group pertaining to static line Airborne operations.
      • Assist the greater Airborne community with high quality, professional Mobile Training Teams (MTT).
