L 21.5" 30"
XL 23.5" 31"

Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.

Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.

Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.

Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Unit History & Information

The 353rd Civil Affairs Command has organized, trained, and equipped Army Reserve Civil Affairs forces for operations overseas. Its Fort Wadsworth identity is preserved on this design alongside the Civil Affairs motto, Order, Government, Freedom.

On October 1, 2021, the command concentrated its two brigades on the European theater, transferring its Africa support responsibilities to the 352nd Civil Affairs Command. The realignment also moved the 404th Civil Affairs Battalion to the 352nd and brought the 486th Civil Affairs Battalion into the 353rd. The shift was intended to strengthen working relationships with supported commands and European allies and partners.
