Phantom Airborne Brigade is a unique, veteran-centered parachute organization dedicated to preserving the traditions, techniques, and spirit of U.S. military airborne operations. Formed by former paratroopers, the Brigade offers current and prior-service jumpers the rare opportunity to conduct authentic static-line parachute operations using military procedures, commands, and equipment. Operating out of Florida, Phantom Airborne recreates the full airborne experience. For many veterans, it provides a meaningful way to reconnect with a defining part of their service and to stand once again in the door with their fellow paratroopers.
What sets Phantom Airborne apart is its commitment to accuracy, safety, and heritage. Jumps are conducted from vintage aircraft—often C-47s dating back to World War II—maintaining the legacy of the earliest American airborne units. The Brigade also fosters camaraderie through reunions, ceremonies, and community events that honor the airborne lineage from WWII through modern conflicts.
