How to find your best fit

Measure a well-fitting shirt you already own and compare it with the measurements below.

  • Chest width: Lay the shirt flat and measure one inch below the armhole, from side seam to side seam.
  • Back length: Measure from the center back neckline to the bottom hem.
  • Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
  • Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve unless the chart notes otherwise.

Measurements are in inches. Allow for a manufacturing tolerance of approximately 0.5 to 1 inch.

On September 20, 1944, paratroopers of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, supported by boat crews from the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion, crossed the Waal River at Nijmegen under heavy German fire. Both units belonged to the 82nd Airborne Division. Their assault helped secure the northern approaches to Nijmegen’s bridges, contributing to their capture and opening the route for the Allied advance during Operation Market Garden.

With too few paddles available, many paratroopers used their rifle buttstocks to help paddle across. The crossed paddle and rifle in this design honor their improvisation, determination, and shared sacrifice.
