Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.
Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Unit History & Information
On October 25, 1983, the 82d Airborne Division began arriving at Point Salines, Grenada, during Operation Urgent Fury. Following the Ranger assault on the airfield, the division’s 2d Brigade, led by 2/325, airlanded to reinforce the operation. The division’s 3d Brigade followed, expanding the force on the island.
The 82nd’s missions included securing the island and protecting U.S. citizens and Grenadians. Its rapid deployment also exposed challenges in joint communications, planning, and equipment compatibility. The experience became an important source of lessons for the division and the wider U.S. military.
