Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.
Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Unit History & Information
The 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) was activated in Japan on June 24, 1957. Its formal lineage also preserves the heritage of the combined Canadian-American First Special Service Force of World War II. After inactivation in June 1974, the group returned to active service at Fort Lewis, Washington, in September 1984, renewing its long association with special operations in the Pacific.
The reactivated group placed 1st Battalion in Okinawa while its headquarters and two other battalions were based in Washington. The battalion’s later record includes operations beyond the Pacific: Company A received a Valorous Unit Award for service in eastern Afghanistan in 2012, and Company C received Valorous Unit Awards for service in Iraq in 2007 and 2008–2009.
