Measurements are in inches. Compare with a well-fitting long-sleeve shirt you already own.

Size Chest width (laid flat) Body length
S 18.5" 28"
M 20" 29"
L 21.5" 30"
XL 23.5" 31"
2XL 25.5" 32"

Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.

Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.

Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.

Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Vintage Style.

This reproduction of a vintage 507th PIR, US Army Airborne School shirt is distinctly different than our 90s reproductions.

Unit History & Information

The 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment was activated at Fort Benning in July 1942. During World War II, it fought in Normandy and later served with the 17th Airborne Division. Its campaign honors include Normandy, the Rhineland, the Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe.

The 1st Battalion later became the home of the Basic Airborne Course at Fort Benning. Its Black Hat instructors trained successive generations of students in the skills needed to earn their parachutist wings. The company identities and Down to Earth motto remain familiar reminders of that introduction to airborne service.
