Celebrate the 118th Military Police Company in our Champion® Powerblend Hoodie.

The 118th Military Police Company (Airborne) was constituted on June 11, 1945, and activated in China on July 9, 1945. Following World War II, it was inactivated on January 6, 1946, at Fort Lawton, Washington. The company was reactivated on February 20, 1963, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, earning the distinction of being the only separate airborne military police company globally at that time. Throughout its service, the 118th participated in numerous operations, including securing the XVIII Airborne Corps Headquarters during the Dominican Republic rebellion in 1966, facilitating the evacuation of American citizens during the 1983 invasion of Grenada, and providing security during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the early 1990s. The unit also deployed for humanitarian aid after Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and supported peacekeeping efforts in Haiti in 1994. In the Global War on Terrorism, the 118th was mobilized to defend the Pentagon after the September 11 attacks and later deployed to Afghanistan in 2002.  The company was deactivated in January 2025 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
