1st SFOD-Delta Oppressors Beware Long Sleeve T-shirt
Long-sleeve T-shirt — Next Level 3601
Athletic Fit – Runs a little small. Please see sizing guide.
Measurements are in inches. Compare with a well-fitting long-sleeve shirt you already own.
| Size | Chest width (laid flat) | Body length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 18.5" | 28" |
| M | 20" | 29" |
| L | 21.5" | 30" |
| XL | 23.5" | 31" |
| 2XL | 25.5" | 32" |
Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.
Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.
1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta was organized at Fort Bragg in the late 1970s under Col. Charles Beckwith as the Army built a dedicated counterterrorism and hostage-rescue capability. Army historical sources also credit retired Special Forces legend Richard Meadows with playing a key role in the unit's formation. The organization became widely known as Delta Force and developed into one of the Army's premier special mission units.
The “Oppressors Beware” phrase has a documented connection to Delta-associated unit mementos and imagery. A 2002 profile of a former Delta flight surgeon described the familiar dagger inside a triangular frame displayed with that motto. Because the design is locally associated with the unit rather than treated as standard Army heraldry, this shirt presents the documented Delta motif without claiming it as an officially authorized crest.
