Measurements are in inches. Compare with a well-fitting long-sleeve shirt you already own.
| Size | Chest width (laid flat) | Body length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 18.5" | 28" |
| M | 20" | 29" |
| L | 21.5" | 30" |
| XL | 23.5" | 31" |
| 2XL | 25.5" | 32" |
Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.
Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

The 11th Special Forces Group (Airborne), an Army Reserve formation, was activated on March 1, 1961, with headquarters in Boston. Its headquarters later moved to Staten Island and Tappan, New York, before relocating to Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, in March 1973.
The 3rd Battalion carried that Army Reserve Special Forces tradition through the Cold War. Roy A. Wood joined the battalion in 1982 after receiving his Reserve commission in 1979. A qualified physician, Wood later served with U.S. Special Operations Command and 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group, where he became a medical sergeant and served in Afghanistan.
