319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment Loyalty crest with Master Parachutist wings, printed on the left chest.
The 319th Field Artillery originated at Camp Gordon, Georgia, in 1917 and served with the 82nd Division during World War I. Reorganized as a field artillery battalion in 1942, it became the 319th Glider Field Artillery Battalion that August as the division took on its airborne role.
During World War II, the 319th provided artillery support in the 82nd Airborne Division’s campaigns, including Normandy and the Netherlands. Its service connects the regiment’s field-artillery origins with the specialized demands of airborne fire support. This design combines the regimental crest and Loyalty motto with Master Parachutist wings.
