Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.
Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Unit History & Information
The 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) was activated in Japan on June 24, 1957. Its formal lineage also preserves the heritage of the combined Canadian-American First Special Service Force of World War II. After inactivation in June 1974, the group returned to active service at Fort Lewis, Washington, in September 1984, renewing its long association with special operations in the Pacific.
The 4th Battalion was activated at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on August 26, 2011, as part of the Army’s expansion of its active-duty Special Forces groups. During its formation and first year, its detachments trained with partners from India, Japan and the Philippines. The battalion later received a Meritorious Unit Commendation for Afghanistan in 2011–2012.
