Measurements are in inches. Compare with a well-fitting long-sleeve shirt you already own.

Size Chest width (laid flat) Body length
S 18.5" 28"
M 20" 29"
L 21.5" 30"
XL 23.5" 31"
2XL 25.5" 32"

Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.

Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.

Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.

Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

This 401st Fighter Squadron Tribute T-shirt features the squadron patch and P-38 silhouette on the left chest with the patch and campaign list on the back.

Unit History & Information

The 401st Fighter Squadron flew P-38 Lightnings with the 370th Fighter Group during World War II. After training in the United States, the squadron deployed to England and served with the Ninth Air Force, supporting the Allied campaign in Europe. Its pilots took part in the air war over France and Germany, including fighting around Aachen. The squadron was inactivated in November 1945, but its lineage continued after the war: it was redesignated the 173rd Fighter Squadron and allotted to the Nebraska National Guard in May 1946.
