M 20" 29"
L 21.5" 30"
XL 23.5" 31"

Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.

Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.

Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.

Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

This design honors the GOYA legacy of the 551st Parachute Infantry Battalion and their sacrifices in the Ardennes. Featuring a printed recreation of an original 551st patch on the left chest, and a guidon-style graphic on the back featuring the 551st's officially unofficial motto, "Get Off Your Ass!".

Unit History & Information

The 551st Parachute Infantry Battalion formed in Panama in 1942 and later trained at Camp Mackall, North Carolina. Its GOYA nickname came from a favorite expression of its commander, Lt. Col. Wood Joerg. The battalion entered combat during Operation Dragoon in southern France and subsequently served along the Franco-Italian border.

During the Battle of the Bulge, the 551st fought through severe winter conditions and heavy casualties. Its January 7, 1945, assault captured Rochelinval, Belgium, but cost the battalion its commander and much of its remaining strength. After the unit was disbanded, many survivors joined the 82nd Airborne Division. The battalion received a Presidential Unit Citation in 2001 for its wartime service.
