Camp Mackall 36" x 9" "Yardlong" Panorama Reproduction
- MANUFACTURED & PRINTED IN THE U.S.A.🇺🇸
"Those men who drop from the skies.”
Originally produced in 1944 and sold to Paratroopers and glidermen training at Camp Mackall, this panoramic souvenir brought together the aircraft, equipment, and Soldiers of the wartime Airborne. Our reproduction brings that same scene back into view, complete with its original Camp Mackall title and caption.
Look closely and there’s more going on than a single photograph could capture. The original was assembled from multiple photographs, combining parachute drops, gliders, transport aircraft, and ground training into one sweeping composition. It’s a period photo montage, made decades before digital editing, with something new to notice each time you look.
The original in our shop measures approximately 42 × 10½ inches. We’ve scaled ours down slightly to 36 × 9 inches, keeping the panoramic format while making it easier to find a frame and a place on the wall. A fitting addition to a study, collection room, or the home of anyone with a connection to Airborne history.
Print only. Frame not included.
