Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.
Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Unit History & Information
Construction of Camp Hoffman began in North Carolina in November 1942 as the Army expanded its airborne force. Renamed Camp Mackall in 1943 for Private John Thomas Mackall, the installation housed Airborne Command and trained parachute, glider and air-transported troops. Mackall’s mother attended the camp’s dedication on May 1, 1943. Large airborne maneuvers followed that December, testing methods that would be used in the European war. The camp name and parachutist imagery on this shirt recall that wartime training role.
