Measurements are in inches. Compare with a well-fitting long-sleeve shirt you already own.

Size Chest width (laid flat) Body length
S 18.5" 28"
M 20" 29"
L 21.5" 30"
XL 23.5" 31"
2XL 25.5" 32"

Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.

Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.

Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.

Chest-width manufacturing tolerance: ±0.5 inch.

Unit History & Information

The Douglas C-47 Skytrain was the military transport developed from the DC-3 airliner. Cargo doors and a strengthened floor helped adapt the design for military loads, while its troop-carrying and glider-towing roles made it closely associated with World War II airborne operations. C-47s carried Paratroopers and towed assault gliders during the Normandy invasion. The aircraft remained useful long after the war: in Southeast Asia, versions served in transport, gunship, reconnaissance, and psychological operations roles. Its long service explains the enduring recognition of the Skytrain name.
