Lay the shirt flat on a level surface without stretching. Smooth out folds, then measure straight across from side seam to side seam, one inch below the armhole seams.
Measure body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neck to the bottom hem.
Chest width is half the garment circumference. Doubling it gives the measurement around the garment, not a recommended body chest size.

On the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, a chapel was dedicated near the Pentagon crash site. Inside, a stained glass window honors those who were lost and those who still carry the weight of that day. The most poignant detail of the window lies at its outer edges. Two crimson rings encircle patriotic emblems, intricately crafted from exactly 184 individual pieces of red glass. Each ruby-colored fragment represents a single life lost during the attack on the building; 125 individuals inside the Pentagon and 59 passengers and crew aboard Flight 77. Bound together by light and lead, these 184 pieces transform the memory of a shattered morning into an eternal, unified tribute to the fallen. The vivid imagery within the glass weaves together deep threads of national endurance.
At the crash site, the Pentagon Memorial now stands, honoring the victims with the words: “We claim this ground in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, to honor the 184 people whose lives were lost, their families, and all who sacrifice that we may live in freedom. We will never forget.”
